Construction is progressing on the new Sales Center for Wesley Grove at Asbury Park, a new luxury community now under development by Westminster Communities. Construction is progressing on the new Sales Center for Wesley
Grove at Asbury Park, as excitement continues to escalate for the
new luxury community now under development by Westminster Communities.
More than 1,000 prospective buyers have already placed their names
on a priority list for the planned waterfront development that
the Center will market.
Phase One of Wesley Grove will include 146
luxury townhomes, condominiums and duplexes, with approximately
10,000 square feet of retail amenities. Situated on prime property
in the Wesley Lake district, the emerging community will feature
spectacular views of the lake and the Atlantic Ocean, spacious
homes with the latest amenities, just steps away from Asbury Park's
newly burgeoning downtown. The pedestrian-friendly community will
also include private garage parking.
Sales Center Showcases Downtown

The Sales Center is located at 600 Cookman Avenue in the Press
Plaza, adjacent to the site where Wesley Grove at Asbury Park is
beginning to take shape. It is in the heart of Asbury Park's shopping
area with an eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants and art galleries
that is drawing visitors and new residents to the historic shore
town's business district and recently renovated boardwalk. Just
minutes away is the local train station,making Wesley Grove an
ideal residence for rail commuters.
According to Sam Gershwin, president
of Westminster Communities, the Sales Center for Wesley Grove at
Asbury Park will open in early summer, at the height of the home-buying
season, and just as beachgoers flock to Asbury Park's sandy shores.
The opening marks the next major step in a waterfront project that
is contributing to the city's renaissance.
"With warm weather right around the corner and inquiries
for Wesley Grove at an all-time high, we are looking forward to
welcoming prospective buyers in a location that showcases all the
wonderful aspects of this new community," said Gershwin.
The
Sales Center will feature a theater where a virtual reality DVD
presentation will project the lifestyle available at Wesley Grove
at Asbury Park, highlighting on-site conveniences and regional
attractions.
The Center will also include a scale model of the first
building's exterior and replicas of the available high-tech kitchens
and baths to be featured in the luxury residences.
Historic Charm
with Modern Conveniences
Designed by architect Minno & Wasko
of Lambertville, New Jersey, Wesley Grove at Asbury Park will reflect
the charm of a historic seaside town, while offering residents
the most sought-after modern amenities. Each home will feature
an oversized master bedroom and bath, the latest kitchen appliances,
and individual washer and dryer hookups. Beautiful finishing details
will include wall-to-wall carpeting in the main living areas. A
gas-fired HVAC system will provide efficient and economical comfort.
The
46 luxury townhomes included within Phase One will offer approximately
1,600 square feet of living and entertaining space on two levels,
plus a spacious loft that opens to a rooftop terrace. Residences
will feature private garages, and several will also offer private
gardens, decks and balconies. Over-sized windows will be placed
strategically throughout the community to maximize abundant natural
light and views of the water. The 100 condominium and duplex units
will average more than 1,280 square feet, some with walkout balconies
and roof terraces with panoramic views of Wesley Lake and the oceanfront.
Wesley
Grove at Asbury Park represents the first phase of Westminster
Communities' involvement with Oceanfront Asbury, where the company
plans a total of 750 residential units. The overall plan involves
several developers and more than 3,000 residential units, a 450,000-square-foot
retail/entertainment component on 56 acres, and improved municipal
services, including the recently renovated boardwalk.
