Homes At New Wesley Grove At Asbury Park Luxury Waterfront Community Selling Briskly
First Residential Building More Than 50% Sold; Occupancy Expected by Late Fall 2006
ASBURY PARK, N.J., May 4, 2006 – The lure of spectacular oceanfront views, sparkling sandy beaches and luxurious living has been drawing buyers to Wesley Grove at Asbury Park, a new luxury residential community now being developed by Westminster Communities in the heart of this historic seaside resort. More than half of the homes in the first residential building, The St. James, have already been sold, and the first occupants are expected to move in by late fall.
Wesley Grove is part of the 56-acre Oceanfront Asbury redevelopment and occupies one of the most unique locations within the newly emerging Asbury Park waterfront community. It is nestled amid tree-lined streets and beautiful Victorian homes, just steps from the thriving turn-of-the-century downtown area with its eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants and art galleries. It is within view of the beach and boardwalk, with views of many of the town’s landmark buildings. The site is also just minutes from the train station and almost afloat on an expanse of Wesley Lake overlooking Ocean Grove and the Atlantic Ocean.

The St. James, part of Phase I of the Wesley Grove project, features 30 townhomes and 61 condominium flats and duplexes, finished in brick, stucco and glass. Its appealing architecture incorporates elements of both the Arts and Crafts and Victorian style that characterize the area.
The townhomes offer approximately 2,200 to 2,400 square feet of living and entertaining space, which includes spacious loft and rooftop terrace areas. Residences feature private garages and also offer private decks and balconies. The condominium flats and duplexes average more than 1,800 square feet, some with walkout balconies and roof terraces. Over-sized windows have been placed strategically throughout to maximize abundant natural light and views of the water. The townhomes range in price from the $700,000s to the mid-$800,000s. Condo flats and duplexes range from the high-$400,000s to the mid-$800,000s.
An additional 55 residential units are planned as part of Phase I. Ultimately, Wesley Grove at Asbury Park will include approximately 750 homes and 35,000 square feet of retail space.
Sales for Wesley Grove at Asbury Park are being directed by Laurie Koziol Real Estate, headquartered in the West End section of Long Branch, N.J.
