Construction is progressing on the new Sales Center for Wesley Grove at Asbury Park, a new luxury community now under development by Westminster Communities. Phase One of the development will feature 146 luxury townhomes, condominiums and duplexes in two art deco-inspired buildings, pictured in this Lake Avenue rendering.

Westminster Communities is proud to be a part of the exciting Oceanfront Asbury waterfront redevelopment now taking place in Asbury Park, New Jersey. In fact, we were the first developer with a shovel in the ground at this historic project, which is responsible for returning this wonderful community to its former glory as the “Jewel of the Jersey Shore.”

Westminster Communities is currently constructing its first building at Wesley Grove, The St. James, which will include the community’s first 91 luxury townhomes, condominium flats and duplexes.

The St. James, like the future buildings that are to be built by Westminster Communities at Wesley Grove, will incorporate elements of both the Arts and Crafts and Victorian-style architecture that characterize Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. Many of the condominium flats and duplexes feature large walkout balconies and each of the townhomes will include spacious lofts that open to roof terraces. There will be secure garage parking for all of the residences and over-sized windows will be strategically placed throughout the homes to maximize abundant natural light and views of the water. Within each residence, additional amenities will include magnificent hardwood entry foyers, fabulous gourmet kitchens and sumptuous bathroom layouts.

The remainder of the Wesley Grove’s first phase will include up to 82 upscale homes (55 have already been approved, plus the potential for 27 additional). Ultimately, Wesley Grove at Asbury Park will include approximately 750 residential units ranging in size from 1,100 to 2,650 square feet located along Wesley Lake and Cookman Avenue with views of the Atlantic and Asbury’s historic boardwalk. Up to 35,000 square feet of retail space will also be part of the community.

Wesley Grove occupies one of the most unique locations within the newly emerging Asbury Park waterfront communities. It is nestled amid tree-lined streets and beautiful Victorian homes, just steps from the thriving turn-of-the-century downtown area, minutes from the train station, and almost afloat on an expanse of Wesley Lake overlooking Ocean Grove and the sea.

The Sales Center for Wesley Grove, which opened for its first priority appointments in early November 2005, is located at 600 Cookman Avenue in the heart of Asbury Park’s downtown business district.
