"Builder Of The Year" Unveils North Beach Asbury Park At Public Groundbreaking Event

JACKSON, NJ: Asbury Park Mayor Kevin Sanders joined City Council members and more than 400 Asbury Park residents, dignitaries, prospective homebuyers and others yesterday in celebrating the start of construction on North Beach Asbury Park, a centerpiece of the city's $1.2 billion oceanfront redevelopment effort to encompass 157 luxury condominiums overlooking the ocean, the coastline and the cityscape. "Thousands upon thousands of people of all ages from all over the country care about Asbury Park, people care about what were doing here today and people care about the future of this city," said Jeffrey Fernbach, President of North Beach Asbury Park's builder Paramount Homes and New Jersey Shore Builders Association's "2003 Builder of the Year" in his remarks to the crowd in the city's Bradley Park. "I couldn't be more proud to play a small part in rekindling that spirit."
