1000 Ocean Avenue, between the Second Avenue and Third Avenue Pavilions, the Atomic offers the perfect venue to unwind, socialize and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Jersey Shore, according to Caroline O'Toole, manager of the famed Stone Pony and this newest addition to Asbury Park's entertainment venues.

"The view from the bar is amazing," she said. "We have garage-style doors and when they are open, you overlook the most beautiful world-class beach in New Jersey with the entire expanse of the Atlantic Ocean before you." The Atomic Bar is open at noon Monday through Wednesdays and on weekends from noon until 2 a.m. Sports events are broadcast continuously on eight televisions set up all around the club. On Fridays, patrons can celebrate summer with an all day and night Happy Hour. DJ music livens up the scene on Fridays, and Saturday nights with an 80s Dance Party. The menu includes $2 pints and drink specials, as well as hot appetizers, burgers, hot dogs and other light fare.

In the past year, as manager of The Stone Pony, O'Toole has earned a reputation for her ability to combine local color and flair with top quality entertainment and fine service. "The Atomic Bar is yet another part of the amazing rebirth of this wonderful oceanfront city," said O'Toole. "I hope people will come and see for themselves what an extraordinary place this is. I don't think there is any other club in the state that offers this kind of magnificent setting."
