DEC. 10: “MEMORIES OF FRANK” CELEBRATION HONORING SINATRA’S 90TH BIRTHDAY TO BE HELD AT ASBURY PARK’S PARAMOUNT THEATRE
Special Guest Deana Martin, Daughter of Dean Martin, Will Join Sinatra Friends and Fans in Honoring Old Blue Eyes
ASBURY PARK, N.J. , Nov. 11, 2005 – Celebrate the life and music of the legendary Frank Sinatra at a 90th Birthday tribute concert to Old Blue Eyes, on Saturday evening, December 10 at Asbury Park’s famed Paramount Theatre.
The evening, entitled “Memories of Frank,” will feature music, conversation, comedy and more from individuals who knew and worked with Sinatra. The event will be hosted by Sid Mark, long-time Sinatra friend and aficionado, and originator of The Sounds of Sinatra radio program. He will be joined by an orchestra conducted by Frank’s one-time conductor Vincent Falcone, Jr.; vocalist Michael Martocci, who has been called “a new voice in the tradition of Sinatra”; comedian Pat Cooper, who was Frank’s opening act for many of his shows; Deana Martin, who will share stories about Frank and her father, Dean Martin; and numerous other special guests.
In addition, the Theatre arcade will be filled with some of the finest Frank Sinatra memorabilia and photos ever assembled. Theatre doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
