Asbury Partners To Co-Sponsor Garden State Film Festival, March 31 – April 2 At Paramount Theatre, Convention Hall And Other Venues In Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK, N.J., March 14, 2006 - Asbury Partners, the master developer of Oceanfront Asbury, the 56-acre waterfront redevelopment in Asbury Park, N.J., will co-sponsor the 2006 Garden State Film Festival scheduled this year for March 31 through April 2. This will be the fourth annual film festival. Film screenings will be held at Asbury Park's historic Convention Hall/Paramount Theatre as well as The Berkeley Carteret Hotel and Asbury Lanes on the oceanfront.

"The Garden State Film Festival is a great example of the type of events that are uniquely New Jersey in the most positive sense and that we want to bring home to the Jewel of the Jersey Shore," said Larry Fishman, chief operating officer of Asbury Partners. "Based on past experience, the festival will be as eclectic and innovative as it is exciting and memorable, with a diversity of offerings for individuals and families."

The Festival is quickly becoming an institution in the Garden State.
Celebrating the art of filmmaking, it is an important showcase for a wide variety of film, video and animated works. A selection of educational programs in the creative arts are also scheduled for all ages.

"We are thrilled to be able to present 104 films from around the world in four venues this year," said Diane Raver, the executive director and founder of the Garden State Film Festival. "We believe this demonstrates that we are gaining momentum as an organization, which in turn is helping us further our objectives of promoting the arts and education in the state through the medium of film, while contributing to the revitalization of Asbury Park."
